Gracie's Really Big Boo Boo

My poor Gracie, She fell trying to step down to the toilet from the counter. When she did she slipped and fell face first into the tub. Tony called me at work and asked me for the the nurse hot line number and told me what happened. I have to say that I never imagined it to look like this. When I seen her my heart just broke. It was so much more swollen last night. We kept her close by during the night and woke her up every few hours to make sure she could speak clearly and walk. The nurse said to call back if she vomits twice. But thankfully no vomiting. This morning she is her normal joyful self. She is singing right now "His Banner Over Me Is Love" So she still has a song in her heart. She does go look in the mirror and check on her "Boo Boo" about every hour. Then she comes out and says "Momma I have a REALLY BIG BOO BOO this time hu?" I am just thankful that she is okay. Plus she is still smiling.

Oh dear!! At family camp the year before last, our Jacob fell on one of the benches...and he got a huge shiner right between the eyes. I was HUGE....and it did not go away for weeks and weeks. He had a small hematoma left for over 2 months. We didnt think it owuld ever go away but it did :) Glad she is doing ok.

WOW! I can't believe how big that is! I can't believe how different it make her face look! Poor Gracie!! At least she is in good spirits now. I'm glad you took pictures, she will enjoy remembering this big "boo boo" when she's older.
