Tell Me Would You Be Afraid Of This Little Bear?

Pictures From Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving. We had such a WONDERFUL time at our Assistant Pastor's house with his family. They have a tradition that not all men would want me to share with other ladies. That is the women cook and the men do dishes! How FABULOUS is that? So I have a great picture of Pastor and Joe (his son as if you wouldn't have been able to figure that out, they look a lot alike!) Doing dishes. After dinner and the dishes the men settled down for some football on TV and us ladies went and played some Skip-Bo. We later had the men to come in and play Catch Phrase with us. Needless to say we had a nice time.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

What a wonderful day I have had sharing it with my husband, kids and sweet friends from church! I have so so much to be thankful for in my life. I started reflecting on Wednesday while making pies for dessert today. I praise the Lord for so much, I have been thinking about my parents so much the last couple of days. This year since we moved we were not able to share Thanksgiving with Dad and Mom H. I can not think of the last time I shared it with my Momma P.(Due to the jobs and location) Each of my parents bring something different to my life, but it is because their guidance as a child or now as adult that I am where I am at today. Thank you for that!

I am thankful for my husband, he loves me unconditionally, he is a strong leader and loves the Lord. We are partners for life working together as one through anything that comes our way. I know not every woman can say that. I am BLESSED!

I am so thankful for my children. The Lord knows that I love my children. I am so thankful to have each of them. That was my dream as a child was not to be a doctor, nurse, or secretary but to be a Mom. Being a Mom is not always a easy job but it is a job that has the highest pay. It is not money it is blessings.

Most of all I am thankful for Jesus Christ who died for me. I am thankful that he took and paid for my sin so I do not have to suffer in Hell when I die. For that matter I have the Lord to lean on at any moment in time. Just like my parents who would be here in a millisecond if I ever needed them Christ can be here even faster! That is just unreal to me at times.

Courtney Turns 11

Wow has it been eleven years already? Time does fly by so quickly. We had a wonderful time celebrating Courtney! We had gone down to CT over the weekend previous to her Birthday. So all of our dear friends sang to her. Then on Tuesday she opened her presents and we sang again. She had Monkey Bread for her cake. (that is a family special that is at its best with Dad and Mom H. and Aunt Kimmie, or dear friends.) Gracie loves Birthday's. She helped Sissy blow out her candles and was just as excited to see what Sissy got for presents just in case she might get to play with something new also!

And They Say Boys Play Hard

Here is Courtney and her friend Meredith from Ct. We went down to Ct. since we had a long weekend to be with dear friends. We had a wonderful time and a HUGE BBQ on Monday. Courtney and Meredith were playing outside and Courtney accidentally hit Meredith with stick. And they say boys play hard. Gracie was hit on the forehead but I for got to get a picture of her to match Meredith's chin. This was taken after both girls were done crying.

The Power Of Sour

You would think that she is eating a lemon by the look on her face but she isn't. It is only a orange. At first she licked it and said this is AWSOME! (I have never heard her say that something was awsome before, I giggled.) So I told her that she sould take a bite. Well that was the end of thinking that a orange was AWSOME! She quickly took a drink and said "I can't like it Momma!"

What a Mom says

Today was just one of those days that I felt like I said it all as a Mom. This lady really does sum it up and deserves a award for being able to say it under three minutes. When I first seen this I sent it to all of my friends. I have to say it is with out question BLOG WORTHY not only will you be able to relate to some point of the song but you will for sure receive a good laugh!

Caleb

This is our Caleb Anthony. He is now three an a half months old. He is growing and trying new things every day. He is a happy baby for the most part and is a constant source of excitement in the house. Gracie has gave him the nick name "Buddy Boy" It has stuck so for the most part that is what we call him. Although Tony and I call him "The Tanker" quite often. Tell me he does not look tough in his little hat. I love this hat and if I could find one in gray, black or brown he would wear it all the time.

Gracie

This is our Gracie Morgan she is also lovingly called Gracie Girl! She just turned three in August. She is our little comedian. Not a day goes by with out laughing till I come to tears. Her favorite color so far is pink. She loves playing with her Sissy and Caleb. They say boys are always busy and on the go but that is Gracie. Tony and I love to hear her sing. She has more songs memorized than we ever knew possible. Her and Courtney usually sing to us in the van to where ever we are going. Tony and I absolutely love it. She does not seem to have any problems making friends. Gracie has laid claim on a couple of girls at church. She follows Alyssa and Lizzie around as much as possible. These girls are Courtney's age but does not seem to make a difference. The girls just love on her and take the time to talk to her and that gets Gracie all the more excited. She lovingly calls them "My Alyssa, and My Lizzie".

Our children are such a blessing from the Lord. As Tony and I put this clip of pictures together I could not help but get teary eyed. The Lord is so gracious to allow us to raise these children for him. They are only a loan from the Lord and WE WILL do our BEST to bring him GLORY through them!

Courtney

This is my Courtney Megan. She is going to be 11 on the 13th of November. Her favorite color is purple. She is learning how to play the flute, and now taking lessons from a sweet lady at our church. She enjoys knitting, playing with her friends, and shopping for shoes and for more shoes and sometime she likes even MORE shoes. She is great with her brother and sister and is a tremendous blessing to Tony and me when we need to get things done.

Tony and I

This is my honey and I. I call him the "Big Daddy". I am sure he will love that I am telling anyone who looks at our blog that but that is okay. Gracie has been known to call him that also. Only because she has heard her Momma say it so many times. None the less this is my all time FAVORITE picture of us and that is why you see it so many times on the blog

The Duet

Look we can put videos on for you to see. Courtney and Caleb make a beautiful duet!
