Going..Going.. GONE

Caleb is five months now and he has finally rolled over. YEAH! I was at work the first time he rolled but Daddy called right away and sent video on the phone. I was so excited. He is really a pro at rolling from his back to his belly but has only rolled from his belly to his back once. So needless to say he gets very mad when he is stuck and can not get back over.

Tough Guy

We were having a great time working on Caleb's new image. I think he looks to cute to try to be a biker dude, so we will stick with the original sweet look.

Raw Talent

Gracie went to the front of the Church and was singing to her little heart out to her Lord after church was over. She was so very cute. She was singing "Christ Is Lord Indeed" she loves to sing. After taking pictures we told her that she could not touch the microphone anymore. We are weird as parents! We take the pictures of our kids doing something that they should not be touching or doing and then let them know that it is a complete "NO NO"! We all do it. But tell me she isn't cute.

Christmas Traditions

I have been in the kitchen baking and making home made candy. I get so excited at this time of the year. I love making things that my parents and grandparents made when I was a kid. But one thing my parents did with us kids was make sugar cookie cut outs and let us kids decorate them. I remember looking forward to doing that each year. It was GREAT family time. It wasn't just us kids that liked to decorate my Dad could make a work of art out of a cookie. Tony and I now do this with our children. Courtney has already asked about it. So today I am making up the sugar cookies so we can decorate on Sat afternoon. I think Gracie will be fun to watch and I can only imagine her creations now. I am curious to know how much cookie will be decorated versus eaten. But that is what it is all about, HAVING FUN with your family. Do you have family traditions you do with you kids? Tell me about them. I enjoy hearing what other people like to do. Tony remembers all of his family getting together and making a Italian cookie called a Scallidi. It is a fried cookie then dipped into honey. He is so cute to watch talk about it. I asked Mom Pizo for the recipe but it makes a ton. I need to figure out how to cut it down so the kids can know what family traditions their Daddy did. I hope all of you take the time this year to sit down and do something special with your children. These are memories that will last through out their life and chances are will pass them to their children. Just imagine the memories they will be able to share with your future grandchildren!
