Okay so I have a question. Is there a way to have longer hair and it not take all day to fix in the morning? I know that I have thick hair, but I tell you I am tired of taking thirty minutes just to dry it. Not to mention the curling iron to help smooth it or add some volume. Sometimes I am not sure you can even tell I use a curling iron. LOL! So, I am seriously thinking of cutting it. Sometimes shorter hair requires the same amount of time but I am talking about thinning this mane out. I know I can hear my Momma P. now saying "don't you dare." I can hear my Dad saying "I like shorter hair". I am not sure what Mom H. would say. My honey would say "NO WAY!" But he seems to like my hair what ever I end up doing to it. He is great about not fussing about how long I take to do my hair. So what do you think? I have recently tried leaving it wavy curly with mouse but I feel like I am cheating. It looks wet still, but it is wash, mouse, add a barrette, and done. Love that part. A lot of people have said they like it. See, I know I am babbling, but this is what goes on inside my head. Don't be scared, I will be alright. Maybe I should just quit being a big whiner and be thankful for what I have.
Either way let me know what you think. It will take me for ever to decide either way.

Your hair is beautiful! I wish I could grow mine past my shoulders and have it look good!! How short are you thinking?
I am thinking maybe a bob. Maybe even some bangs. That might be more than I can deal with though.
Great post! Well, you know me...I have thick hair and usually mine gets waaayyy long (mostly out of just ignoring it!)... but I find 2 things: One, When long, I can do more with it faster... because I can twist it up, and wear up-dos...and most people think that longer hair is more beautiful and feminine... so when I DO curl it and wear it down, the payoff is bigger because it's longer! The other thing is that when it's shorter... I find that it can take just as much time to fix than when it's long! Not to mention all the shorter peices that fall out and tickle my face all the time. So, my vote goes for the long! :):) Maybe just give it like 4 more months and then see if you love it or are dying to get it off.. THEN cut it. That's what I usually do... mine is shorter for me right now. And hey - the gel and scrunch thing is a LOT more than many other professionals do! I'll bet your hair dries into beautiful waves! It's not cheating... cheating is staying home all day in your robe and not showering. LOL Bye!
I have always liked your hair, I really don't think you would be happy with bangs They are so much work. (I did that one again) And anyways the growout from short is always a pain in the butt. But like always you need to do what you like. Anything you decide to do is going to be great. Also to get the easy moused look without looking so wet try half drying your hair with a diffuser and then adding the mousse. Love ya
I think I am going to have to get the diffuser. That might really help. I do not really like that wet look.
I haven't made up my mind yet but you all have been so helpful!
Oh no, you aren't cutting your hair Nicole!
I knew my Momma's answer would be NO. For thoses of you that don't know my middle name is Nicole. That is my name when Momma is serious. LOL! Some things do not change.
NO WAY MY DEAR NOT A CHANCE!!!!
Anonymous is Tony
Hmmmm....then sounds like it's all decided! Tony says no, and that settles it, right? END of discussion! And all this time you thought you had the burden of making this decision, and he had the answer all along! Hee hee. Tony is wise, he will make a good decision. :)
I don't think Mrs. Fine and Straight hair will be of assistance. I would ask Jackie, i have never met a thicker head (haaa no pun intended) Since i don't know what thick hair is all about I would think that layers would lighten the load. Maybe try some whispy layers from the chin down...love those choppy whisps! But your hair is always healthy looking and pretty, so whatever you do you will love it and so will I.
Hi there!
We missed you yesterday!
That is funny, I have been thinking about cutting mine as well, but mostly because I don't do anything besides a pony!!
I think your hair is beautiful, but if it really takes that long to do anything with it, I'd go for a cut! That's just me, but I really hate spending lots of time on my hair.
