Gracie Cakes

We were in the car waiting on Daddy. So I thought I would snap a shot of Gracie Cakes. She is growing up so fast. She loves to play outside, bake, and sing. I will have to get a new picture of her since she lost 2 teeth on Wednesday night.

Family Sledding

We received snow just the other day,so of course we had to buy some sleds. First thing this morning we got up and headed out. Do I dare say how much fun I had. I have found memories of sledding with my brother and sister as a kid. My brother would even let us go with him to his Buddy's house and we would spend the day sledding down his huge hill. Today was the first time sledding for Gracie. She loved it and was willing to try anything. Caleb went down with Daddy once and that was the last. Courtney has been many of a time. Her and I would sled often while in CT. Daddy would join us when he wasn't out to sea at the time. I tried to upload the video but for some reason it would not let me. I will try that on facebook.

I Can Ride A Scooter Too.

Caleb wanted to ride the scooter too, so Grandpa helped him. He blew me away how he stayed so balanced. For a little bit before we started the video he was standing on one foot. Kids really do pick up so much from other kids by watching.

Good Job Grandpa

Gracie was keeping a close eye on Grandpa while he was helping Daddy raise a cabinet so that the microwave would not be so close to my stove. (By the way they did a FABULOUS job!) She was so interested in what they were doing. So cute. I have similar memories of Courtney watching Grandpa while changing a heating element in the stove for Mom.

Grandma Love

The kids have been delighted that Dad and Mom Heilman have been in the area for the summer. This was the first time they were able to come down. Also the first time they were able to meet Caleb. It was a sweet day. We have had many more sweet days.

Family Picture

Tony got creative using the timer on our camera. This was Christmas Eve before we went to church. I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas!

Quick Picture

I thought I would post this. Tony took it on Sunday morning before church. I have been asked why there are not many pictures of me on the blog and there are probably a few reasons for that but for the most part it is me taking the pictures. At any rate here I am with Caleb Man. As you can tell we do not look much like mother and son. :( But he sure is a sweet little man. He saves his kisses for his Momma and will not share them even with his Daddy.

Sick Babies

Well here are my sick kiddo's. While Daddy went to WA on business the four of us had the case of the icks. Everything from ear infection to flu to vomiting. Courtney was the healthiest of all of us. She was such a huge blessing to me as far has helping her Momma take care of the younger two kids and me. I know one time I was at the table and Sissy said "Momma is it time for your medicine?" As she is saying this she is handing me my sinus meds along with Tylenol. I would not have made it with out her. For the most part we were well on the mend when Daddy came home by the end of the week.

Singing With The Ludka's

We had the Ludka family over on Tuesday. What fun we had! They came up from CT for a little R&R. He Pastor's Community Baptist Church in Groton CT. What a blessing they are in our life. Dear sweet friends! It might be hard to hear them because some the boys were playing a video game, but they are singing to Caleb. They were singing lazy bones I think. Caleb was loving it.

Okay I have tried over and over to get the video to work and it just wont. It will work on the preview but when I publish it the video will not play. I am sorry. SO I will attach some pictures instead. I like the one of John playing football. He is wining against Uncle Tony in this game.
While Pastor, Bonnie, and Jeffery sang to Caleb, John and Uncle Tony were playing a football game and I was playing Connect Four with Justin, Posha, and Jacob. Who ever won played the other. There for a while Posha was beating all of us on a regular basis, but we figured out his strategies.
WHAT A GREAT DAY!!

Praising The Lord!

God is so good and gracious! My Mom H came through surgery with flying colors. The Doctor was very happy with the out come. He was able to open her spine, drain the fluid and peal the tumor (that was about a inch and a half long and the Doc said looked like a saugage. I told Dad Mom had a little smokie in her back. LOL!) off her nerve with out problem. The nerve is in tact and working well. The tumor is NOT CANCER! PRAISE JESUS! It was inside of the spine in the forth and fifth lumbar. Can you imagine that? He said that is really big for that space and can not figure how she was walking. He replaced the fluid in her spine and his exact words were he packed her, glued her, and stiched her up. She had to lay flat for about 21 hours. That was to make sure she would not get a spinal head ache from her spine leaking fluid.

There were five people that had surgery similar to my Mom's and she was the only one up and going the next day. As a matter of fact Dad and I called Mom in the morning and they had her up eating. She then told me that the Doc said she could go home. Dad and I were in shock that she was coming home the day after surgery! The nurses were clapping for her when she left! She is doing very well to say the least. She has been walking slowly and carefully. Her pain is no longer in her leg and she is walking like her old self. The Doctor said it will take six week to recover. I told Mom her new name is Bionic Woman.

All that is said to say this, all of this is by the hands of the Lord! My parents were being refered out and not sure how to choose a Doc. So Dad started calling to see who can get Mom in to be seen. The Lord led them to this Doctor. Come to find out that this Doctor is one of the BEST! People come from Canada and other states to have him help them. They did not know that till after the surgery. Mom also said that she learned not to judge the book by it's cover. She said when she walked into the Doc's office that Friday and looked at the office and thought it was a little on the run down side and thought oh man maybe this wan't the right one to choose. God knew what he was doing the whole time and met every need that my Mom had and then some. If I sat and told you all of the ways the Lord provided you would be reading for ever. I am so so thankful for the out come. My Pastors wife told me something to remember, if the out come does not come out the way we want it to, does not mean that the Lord did not hear our prayers it means that he has a different plan than we do. She told me to be ready to rejoice in the Lord no matter the out come. She is so right, I tried to keep that in mind. I am not sure that I can say that I would have been perfect if the out come was different. I do know with out a doubt that I know that the Lord is in control and he will give us grace to deal with that ever comes our way.

Visiting WA

Hello to all. I thought I would drop a line to let every one know that I am doing well here in WA. For thoses of you that do not know. I am here visiting Dad and Ma H. Mom is having back surgery to remove a tumor on her spine. The tumor is putting pressure on her nerves and doing great damage and puting her in extreme pain. The doctors belive that it is not cancer but will have a biopsy done to make sure.

Tony has the kids at home so it is just me. It has been nice to have time with my folks by myself it is always nice to have time one on one and not have to share, but my honey and kids wish they were here to be a encouragement to Mom. Gracie doesn't even want to talk to me long on the phone. She quickly asks for Grandma. She has been so sweet to Grandma. She has offered to get her ice and a band aid to help her feel better. Courtney and Gracie both have been praying for Grandma to have a quick recovery.

I have had a great time sitting with Mom getting her blog started. Oh that is "THEIR" blog. Dad will help too. Dad said that it is more like work so I think that it will be Mom that keeps it going. It will be great for them to keep up with family and chruch family so that we can see all of their travels as they hit the road with the "Corner Stone Baptist Builders". They will be traveling building and repairing churches across the US. It is a full time ministry position. They are so excited and Tony and I are so happy for them.

Pizo Family

Just a few pictures of Tony's family. I talked to Dad Pizo last night and told him that I was going to put the picture of him on his knees begging Grandma David for the huckleberry pie on the blog but he said he would dis own me. I laughed. I wonder if I should give the picture to Aunt Dar. That way if it wound up in the news paper it will not be my fault. You might be wondering what a huckleberry is in the first place, well it sort of looks like a blueberry but different. That probably does not help one bit does it. That is the best description that I have. May be I should ask Dad and Mom Pizo to describe it. At any rate I never heard of them either till I met my honey.
The middle picture is his brother Terry and his wife Eileen. They had there wedding in July if I am right, I hope I am. Tony has lots of brother and sisters. I do not have pictures of all of them. I wish I did.
Terry came to WA for a visit. So we had a birthday party for Nicholas. Aunt Marlo had goody bags for the kids. Mr. Phil grilled burgers for all of us. We had a great time.
Bills girls came to stay a week with us in 06. We had a wonderful time. We lived about five hours. The girls had so much fun playing!

Lee & Momma P.

Momma came to see us this past July when Caleb was born. The girls had a great time with her. Courtney took the picture of Momma and Gracie. Momma also learned she likes her little car that week. She was not used to driving the family bus. Although she did drive Tony's little Aveo (which is a standard) and had a interesting story to tell us when she came home about not being able to find reverse. It was pretty funny.

Momma and Lee live in VA. We have not been back there in quite a while due to living in WA so I know that we are due for a trip in the future. The last time we were there we only had Courtney. So it will be different to go back with three children. So I am sure that it will be a house full when we go. But a ton of fun!

Dad & Mom H.

Some fun pictures of Dad and Mom H. Most of these pictures were taken right before we left WA to move to NH except for the top one of Ma and Courtney. You might be wondering why Mom is blowing on Gracie's piggy's. That was something that Gracie loved when she was younger. She would beg us to blow on her piggy's. I am sure that was my fault. I love baby feet. Hands down they are the cutest! So after a tubby I would blow on Gracie's piggy's.

Kimmy Joy

So this is my sister Kimmie Joy. She came to see me this past August after Caleb was born. Well I would like to think she came to see me but she really came to see Caleb. LOL! She enjoyed him very much! The other two picture are of us in Michigan in 06. We had a girls weekend with my Momma P. We enjoy being silly together even though we are older. We did straighten up so that our Momma could get a decent picture of us together. We laughed so hard that weekend. I wish I had pictures of my brothers but I am not sure that I do. I will have to look for some.
